Best Brunches in London: 20 Places Worth Your Weekend

These London brunches are worth cancelling other plans for
Saturday mornings in London move at their own pace. At Brickwood in Balham, the queue starts before ten and nobody in it is wearing a coat; over in Marylebone, Jikoni's tables fill with people who've timed their arrival to the farmers market next door. This is a city that takes brunch seriously, and September is the best month for it—the heat breaks, the light stays long, and the crowds thin just enough to get a seat.
These twenty are ordered by reliability and ease of entry. The first five will take you without reservation and feed you well. The next cluster are the known names—the places that work because they've learned how. Then we move through neighbourhood finds, the luxury experiences and the bottomless venues where it's less about the eggs and more about the scene. Prices range from less than £10 to £150 per person, but only if you want them to.
Brickwood
Balham (11 Hildreth Street, SW12 9RQ) · Aussie-style café · Brunch until 3pm, all week; meal for two around £30 with drinks

Brunch is served until 3pm with imaginative dishes such as wild mushrooms on brioche with poached egg, grated pecorino and truffle oil – for an extra £2, you can add morsels of ham hock. Meal for two with drinks and service comes around £30. No reservation needed and the line moves faster than at its more famous Clapham counterpart.
Nue Ground
Clapham (32 Abbeville Road, SW4 7AB) · Modern European brunch · All-day café; seasonal menu daily

On the weekend, there's an incredibly enticing brunch menu featuring banana French toast and the eatery's signature Bodega sandwich, filled with sai uah sausage and umami ketchup. The label 'Thai/American' might sound baffling, but that's what awaits customers at Chet's, the ground-floor restaurant at The Hoxton, the 237-bedroom hotel on Shepherds Bush Green. It opened three years ago and by day it's a popular co-working space and hotel lobby. Set prices are £32 per person.

Impala
Soho (14 Dean Street, W1D 3RS) · North African wood-fired · Lunch 12pm-2:30pm, dinner 5pm-10:30pm; around £65-90pp
Five years in the making and one of 2026's most hyped openings, Impala on Dean Street is Chef Meedu Saad's debut solo restaurant. As a North African restaurant in Soho, it is built around fire and provenance. A counter seats around ten in front of the wood oven, with a four-seat chef's counter by the grill, plus a full dining room and bar. Produce is sourced direct from small farms and makers across the UK and the Mediterranean, and the natural wine list has become a talking point in its own right.
