Best Parks and Green Spaces in Singapore

Singapore's 80 parks and nature reserves offer trails through rainforest, waterfront picnics, and skyline views. Here's where to find actual breathing room.
The street-level Singapore is crammed: Orchard Road, Marina Bay, the hawker centres all shoulder to shoulder. But a 15-minute train ride from any of these lands you in a different city entirely—one with macaques in the canopy, otters at the water's edge, and enough open grass to lie flat on without your neighbours' business in your ears.
These parks aren't ranking competitors. They're a route through the green side of the island: where to spend a morning if you're with small children, where to go for views, what to do on the walks that separate one experience from the next. We've ordered them as a reader would use them—start with the all-day destinations that let you set your own pace, then move into specific routes and activities once you know what kind of outdoor time suits you.
All opening hours and access details are current as of September 2026.
