Established in 1927, Trinca's is the only Park Street restaurant where live music performances happen regularly, occasionally helmed by Usha Uthup, who began her musical journey there in 1969. The room is dim, colonial-era dim, with tables that look like they've held the same conversations for decades. Live Retro Bollywood plays 6 to 9 p.m., Western music 9 to 11 p.m., and Jazz on weekend lunches. Book a table in advance, especially for weekend dinners with live music, as the restaurant fills quickly.
Flury's

Founded in 1927 by Swiss business partners Joseph Flury and Quinto Cinzio Trinca, Flury's is where Kolkata stops at 4 p.m. for pastry and nostalgia. It's been a legendary bakery since 1927 and gives locals nostalgia. The English breakfast runs to ₹1100 but the cream roll is what people remember. It's open every day, 8:00 AM to 9:30 PM. The air smells like butter and memory.

On busy nights, expect to wait 2 to 3 hours; on regular days you might wait 5 to 20 minutes, but the ambiance feels like an ancient old Calcutta restaurant with very dim lighting, and the food doesn't need explanation. Prior reservations or early arrival are recommended during peak hours.

Barbeque Nation works well for meals where the table wants variety and a relaxed, social pace, bringing live grills and a wider buffet meal together, making it suitable for family catch-ups, friends and group dining. The main attraction is the dessert section with 15 types of dessert and 6 variants of kulfi. Price for two is ₹1600. Go when you're hungry and don't have anywhere to be. Go with people who eat different things. Book ahead on weekends.
One Bottle Down

There is the Park hotel with the famous ROXY nightclub inside. It's where Park Street comes to dance when the restaurants close. You can also visit Tantra, the second night club of the hotel. Oxford Bookstore

Victor Brothers is one of the old auction houses of Kolkata that sits on Park Street, housing treasures that befit the likes of royalty. If you are someone who appreciates old-world charm and the antiquity of design, then this place is no less than a paradise for you. Pick up some rare vintage collectibles to deck up your house or simply to invest in. Think Ming vases, Victorian tea sets, majestic gramophones, brownie cameras, grandfather clocks, vintage chandeliers and antique furniture. Bring time and a sense of humour. Everything here has a story you won't hear anywhere else.
